VOR for Personal Trainers:
Benefits for
Personal Trainers
When do trainers perform best? Sat behind a screen planning workouts, or on the gym floor training clients in the way that only you can? With VOR automating the most repetitive parts of your job, you can do less of the former (way less, in fact), and much more of the latter.
VOR isn’t just a generic AI – it’s a tool that’s been designed by personal trainers, for personal trainers. Which means it exists to enhance what you’re capable of, not to replace you. With VOR on your side, your clients’ results will come entirely from your unique coaching style and ability, not from how well you can write down a workout plan.
With the benefit of automated workouts, clients will get to see you at your most motivated, efficient and productive – which means you can maximise the results you’re getting for them and see them progress quicker than ever. And as a trainer, there’s no better outcome than that.

Enhanced trainer productivity
Personal trainers are irreplaceable. Their job is about so much more than workout planning: it’s motivation, instinct, enthusiasm, guidance, expertise and genuine human connection. VOR creates effective, personalised workout programmes in seconds, reducing the admin burden on trainers, and allowing them to train more people, without impacting the level of quality and care.
VOR reduces the admin burden on trainers with best-in-class, fully customised workout programmes. Which means they can devote more of their time and energy to the parts of their job that only they can do: motivation, accountability, safeguarding and support.
With VOR, trainers are empowered to be their best and most productive selves in the gym. Let’s put it this way: we’ve never once heard a trainer say that they wished they could spend more time stuck behind a screen, writing out workout plans, rather than on the gym floor.
Augmented trainer capability
By automating the repetitive parts of their job, VOR enhances what every personal trainer is capable of. With the help of our AI workout generator, they can run higher-quality and more consistent workout plans. And with roots in exercise science best practices, plus specialised parameters for injuries, targets, training environments and backgrounds, VOR allows trainers to operate with a new level of detail.
Add in the capacity to optimise the layout of your gym and the use of equipment, VOR means that trainers are well equipped to help every member smash their fitness goals.
Trainer-centric design
VOR isn’t a generic AI applied to the world of fitness without a second thought. It’s a highly specialised automation engine designed and overseen by a team of AI experts and experienced personal trainers every step of the way. Which means the needs, wants and challenges of real-life personal trainers have been at the centre of VOR from start to finish. The VOR engine has been extensively tested and iterated, with usability a core principle of development.

FAQs
We know that personal trainers add huge value to gyms and the fitness industry, and many of their skills can't be replaced by technology.
Vor automates the workout creation portion of a trainer's role. It can be used by personal trainers in planning workout programmes and classes. Alternatively, Vor can be used directly by exercisers with varying degrees of trainer supervision, customisation and control.
No. When it comes to your tech stack, Vor can integrate with your internal or external applications via API.
For example, Vor workouts can be delivered via an existing member app directly to exercisers. Or, Vor can be made available via an existing trainer portal to assist teams with workout programming.
If you don't have a tech stack in place, Vor can be accessed by a simple web application from any device.
From a gym equipment perspective, Vor creates workouts customised to your available equipment and gym floor layout. You don't need to invest in any new gym equipment to embed Vor into your operations.
Vor has been intentionally designed by our experienced team of AI experts and personal trainers every step of the way. Rooted in exercise science best practices, it uses parameters for injuries, targets, training environments and backgrounds to make sure that workouts are safe, appropriate and effective for exercisers.
There is no erroneous data or guesswork within the Vor engine - every workout generated is reliable, explainable and traceable.
Our automation engine is not a plugin to a Large Language Model (LLM) like ChatGPT, which often provides unreliable and unpredictable results that might look good enough to the untrained eye, but aren’t safe or appropriate for exercisers.
We have been pioneering our unique technology since 2021 and it is engineered specifically for physical exercise. LLMs, on the other hand, are generalist devices designed to mimic human language, rather than find the right answer. This is potentially injurious in fitness, when the wrong answer, delivered confidently to the end user, could easily lead to injury.
The Vor Engine has consistently and significantly outperformed LLMs (and specifically ChatGPT) in workout creation from both a quality and safety standpoint since we launched our first full working version for testing in 2023.
Today, our tech benchmarks at 100-200 X faster workout generation for personal trainers when compared with writing personalised workout programmes manually. This is a hugely significant time and cost saving for your bottom-line.
